Mission Statement
At RVC, we believe great athletes are built through hard work, strong team culture, and a commitment to getting better every day. Our goal is to develop confident athletes who compete with passion and represent their team with pride both on and off the court. We are building young women who have integrity, confidence and an unstoppable drive in volleyball and in everything they do.
Program Overview
RVC is a competitive volleyball club focused on developing athletes through discipline, structure, and intentional coaching. We are committed to maintaining a high standard in training, behavior, and team culture.
Athlete Expectations
Attendance & Commitment
Athletes are expected to attend all practices and tournaments.
Absences must be communicated in advance.
Missing practice will result in missing a set at the next tournament.
Effort & Attitude
Athletes must give full effort at every practice and game.
Positive, coachable attitudes are required.
Respect for coaches, teammates, officials, and opponents is non-negotiable. Players are expected to address all concerns directly with the coach.
Poor attitude will result in conditioning
Team Culture
Team comes first.
Support teammates on and off the court.
Represent RVC with pride at all times.
Practice Expectations
Arrive on time and ready to train.
Bring all necessary equipment (shoes, knee pads, water).
No distractions during practice.
No parents are allowed in practice areas.
Tournament Expectations
Arrive on time and prepared.
Athletes must stay with the team during tournaments for debriefs and team bonding.
Demonstrate competitive mindset, positive body language, and strong communication.
Parent Expectations
Support your athlete and the team.
Encourage accountability, effort, and respect.
Do not coach from the sidelines.
Trust the coaching staff and program structure.
We encourage parents to support their athletes by allowing them to communicate directly with the coach regarding any concerns.
